The Export-Import Bank of China: The Export-Import Bank of China is a state-funded and state-owned policy bank with the status of an independent legal entity. It is a bank directly under the leadership of the State Council and dedicated to supporting China’s foreign trade, investment and international economic cooperation. With the Chinese government’s credit support, the Bank plays a crucial role in promoting steady economic growth and structural adjustment, supporting foreign trade, and implementing the “going global” strategy. 

Todini Construzioni Generali Spa is fully owned by Prime System KZ Ltd, came into existence after the 2nd World War.  In the early 50s it began its activities in the public works field, firstly in the central region of Italy, then expanding its presence all over the country. At the end of the 90s the company started working more eastern and also completed its first works in Kazakhstan. During this period, road rehabilitation projects for a total length of 2000 km have been carried out in Eastern Europe and former Soviet countries. The company has played a role in 6 big projects in Kazakhstan.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT

The road in Eastern Kazakhstan between Taldykorgan and Kamenogorsk will be reconstructed. On Taldykorgan - Kalbatau - Ust - Kamenogorsk (763 km), Kalbatau -Maykapshagai (415 km) and Merke-Burylbaytal (266 km) roads, preparatory works are being carried out. The implementation period is 2017-2021. The Governor’s office of the region mentioned that the project will help the development of tourism.
