Chinese company Hebei New Silk Road Import and Export Trade is producing a wide range of glass products (coloured, multi-glaze and decorated) in FEZ Navoi. The plant capacity reaches up to 1,000 tonnes per year. The main raw material is quartz, which the Navoi region is rich in. The use of this mineral in industry has recently been actively studied by local scientists. [1]
Along with glass products, the company aims to establish the production of wood products.
