INVESTORS SUMMARY
Huaxin Cement Ltd Founded in 1907, Huaxin Cement Co., Ltd. is known as the cradle of China's cement industry. For 110 years, it has made outstanding contributions to national and local economic construction.
The enterprise credit is “AAA” and the “Huaxin Fort” brand cement products have won the national famous trademark certificate. The top ten buildings in Beijing in the 1950s, Beijing Asian Games Village, Gezhouba, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, dozens of highways and railway bridges in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and the world-famous Three Gorges Project have all selected Huaxin Cement.
In 1994, the company's A and B shares were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In 1999, it formed a strategic partnership with the Swiss Holcim Group, one of the world's largest cement manufacturers.
In recent years, Huaxin Cement has actively changed its development mode, and has taken the lead in promoting and developing alternatives and fuels in the cement industry. It has formed an internationally advanced cement kiln co-processing waste technology and environmental protection solution, successfully achieving production from traditional cement. Tajikistan now has 18 cement plants with a total production capacity of about 5Mt/yr, with Huaxin Gayur Cement, Chzhungtsai Mohir Cement and Huaxin Gayur Sughd Cement accounting for more than 85% of the overall volume made in the first five months of 2019.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Tax budget revenues produced in 2014: 10.7 mln TJS; 2015: 13.9 mln TJS; 2016: 11.1 mln TJS; and 2017: 11.4 mln TJS. Built in 2014 on 48 hectares of land with the investment of 1 bln TJS. The cement production capacity of the factory is 1 mln tonnes per year. 1300 employees work at the factory, of whom 90% are Tajik and 10% are Chinese. To ensure that stability of the factory’s operations, an off-grid 25 MW capacity thermal power plant was constructed.
