Partners Summary

Wudeli Flour Group Co. Ltd was founded in 1989 and is based in Handan, China.  Its subsidiary operates as a flour mill and its main products include flour, high-grade white flour, super-fine flour, wheat, and meslin flour. They are interested in developing projects within Kazakhstan's productive wheat industry. 

Qazaq Capital Partners is an investment fund with a focus on restructuring and management of stressful assets. The vision of the investment group is to promote sustainable economic development of Kazakhstan through funding and supporting priority sectors of the economy in order to implement public policy, address socially-oriented tasks and achieve the goals set by the “Strategy - 2050”.

Description of the project

In 2018, during the visit of the Kazakhstan’s delegation to China a Memorandum on the construction of a grain processing and noodle production plant in Nur-Sultan was signed between Qazaq Capital Partners and Wudeli Flour Group Co. LTD.[1] 

Currently, there are no other factories in Kazakhstan producing the same type of product. The company has stated that the quality of Kazakh flour is consistent and suitable for pasta production. The enterprise is expected to be built over the course of two years with completion happening in 2020.
