Description of the project

The Central Laboratory of the State Agency on Geology and Mineral Resources of the Kyrgyz Republic is a state-owned enterprise, specializing in the comprehensive study of minerals. It  conducts analyzes of rocks, ores, refined products, minerals, soils and soils of natural water, salines, and solid fuels. [1]

Investments in the laboratory modernization project  are carried out in three stages, which includes the construction of a new building for the Central Laboratory in Bishkek and the complete replacement of obsolete equipment. 

Kyrgyz-Chinese joint research laboratory will improve the possibility of analysis and weight accuracy, analysis of rock formation and quality control. 

There is a plan to create an ISO 17025-compliant Laboratory Research Centre in Bishkek through the BRI. [2]

The Chinese company allocated about 30 million yuan for this purpose.
